Lawyer and political analyst Alexandra Lúgaro joins Hannabis as an educational ambassador in a campaign that seeks to educate the population about medical cannabis in Puerto Rico, breaking down myths and prejudices through clear and accessible information.
Since 2016, Lúgaro has advocating the medicinal use of cannabis as a tool for health, economic development and social transformation. In this educational series, essential topics such as how the industry works, the process to obtain a patients license, the therapeutic benefits of the plant and the importance of breaking stigma through education.
"Legalization comes before social acceptance — and acceptance only happens through education," says Lúgaro, who believes in using a direct, inclusive, and practical language that reaches every part of society.
